- iPod Linux Installer - http://ipodlinux.org/Downloads (Make sure the installer you download supports your style iPod. example: 4g Installer) - Nightly Kernel - http://ipodlinux.org/builds (Scroll to the bottom, and get the newest one. example: 2005-11-10-kernel.bin.gz) - Floydzilla Binary - Only download the binary, the source is for developers |

You only need to do a Fake Update if you are updating the Linux kernel, or have problems. Otherwise, skip this and goto "Installing iPod Linux and Floydzilla" |

How to do a Fake Update: A fake update is when you trick your Apple iPod updater into thinking your iPod needs an update. So you don't loose your music. |

If you have a previous verision of iPod Linux on your iPod. You MUST clear it off by doing a Fake Update, or a Restore. Or else you will run into problems |
